Match the hardware to the network
Disk throughput, memory and peering differ per chain. We size against the network you are actually running, not a catalogue tier.

Carry it through upgrades
Client releases and forks land whether or not it suits you. We watch the schedule, stage the upgrade, and take the pager when it lands.
